Paint correction is a controlled machine-polishing process used to improve damaged, dull or marked paintwork.

Every vehicle is inspected before work begins. A test section may be completed to determine the paint hardness, defect severity and safest level of correction.

The service is then matched to the condition of the paint and the result you want to achieve.

THE LEVEL OF CORRECTION

Some vehicles may only require a single-stage machine polish to improve gloss and reduce lighter defects.

Vehicles with heavier swirl marks, scratches, oxidation or previous polishing damage may require multiple correction stages.

The appropriate process will be recommended after inspecting the vehicle.

Every paint correction is quoted individually.

Pricing depends on:

• Vehicle size
• Paint condition and hardness
• Severity of the defects
• Panel shape and complexity
• Number of polishing stages required
• The result you want to achieve

Final pricing will be confirmed after the vehicle has been assessed.

PLEASE NOTE

Paint correction cannot repair stone chips, missing paint, failed clear coat or deep scratches that have passed through the clear coat.

Deep scratches that catch a fingernail, poor previous repairs and damaged paint may require touch-up work or professional repainting.

Complete defect removal cannot always be safely achieved. Our priority is to produce the best possible improvement while preserving the vehicle’s paintwork.

PROTECT THE RESULT

Once corrected, the paint can be protected with a suitable sealant or one of our long-term coating options.
